21.2. Log out Shuttleworth user
This article has been taken from the following link: https://communities.epssw.com/s/article/Shuttleworth-Log-out-Shuttleworth-user-with-video
Description
On occasion (crashed logouts, users leaving PC's logged in, locked terminal servers etc) you may need to log out users from Shuttleworth to allow more in. This will also help if a user is holding a lock (e.g. they crashed out of the system and their old user is holding a lock).
Procedure
There are multiple ways of performing this:
1) Easiest method is from the server (login as user with admin access to server), right click Shuttleworth icon and choose "run as administrator" - then login to shuttleworth as the Shuttleworth administrator user - once in, click Orb>tools>view connections, highlight the user you want removed and click to disconnect.
2) 2nd Method requires certain privileges open on the network, so may not succeed if remote taskkill commands cannot be perfomed to the server. From any PC on the network (logged into Shuttleworth), click the orb>tools>view connections. Highlight the user you want to log out and click "kill" - this will then prompt for a username/password - this will need to be a user ith local admin rights on the server (username format domain\username) - running this will send a taskkill command to the server - if it fails, check with your IT this command can be run to the server processes, or use one of the other methods.
3) 3rd method (if all users logged in and you cannot get in), from server (logged in as user with admin rights), run the "SBS Command prompt" from start menu (right click and run as administrator) - this should be located in Shuttleworth Business System Limited\Administrative tools) - right click and "run as administrator". From the resultant command prompt, change directory to installdrive\sbsdata (e.g. if sbsdata is on d: - issue d: <return> cd \sbsdata <return>) then issue "promon sbs" and press return - from the menu, choose option 8 - Shut down database. From this screen, return through the pages until you locate the user you want removed, and make a note of the number in 1st column (usr):
